Corporate getaways to consider in 2025

Each year, trends change with new destinations being the popular options, whilst previous popular destinations are still good, but not as in favour as they were in previous years. It’s a bit like fashion; what was once the go-to look is now old-fashioned, with a new appeal being worn by consumers.
When it comes to corporate getaways, new trends have started to pop up, which are perfect for businesses that want to take their employees away, to say thank you for the hard work they have been doing. Hiking, for example, has been growing over the years, and with companies like Orbis Ways putting together some great routes, it has led to this being something to consider in 2025. City breaks in popular cities like Paris are also a go-to for many companies.
To help inspire you for your corporate getaway this year, we have put together a quick guide on three types of holidays for you to consider.
Hiking Trip – Camino de Santiago
If you haven’t been on a hiking trip before, know it’s the perfect break for you and your employees. When going away on a hiking holiday, you will all get to spend many hours together on your walks, allowing uninterrupted time to team bond and get to know more about each other, outside the working environment. You can book trips for a couple of days, five days, a week or if you are being very generous, more.
City Break – Paris
City breaks will always be a popular choice for corporate getaways as they can be done over a couple of days – a weekend break, for example! A city that a lot of people are looking into this year is Paris, as it’s a wonderful place to visit with so much to do. For your employees, you can treat them to a meal, some drinks in a popular bar, as well as various activities around the city. More often than not, it’s not too expensive to fly to, and it’s a very safe city.
Spa Break – Spain
Spa breaks are an interesting choice for a corporate getaway, but one that a lot of people will enjoy. Spas are perfect for forgetting about the hustle and bustle of everyday life, and they provide a nice touch of luxury. With most breaks, you can enjoy different saunas, steam rooms and a meal. Spain, in particular, has many wonderful spas which you can choose from, and your employees will benefit from going abroad, instead of doing a spa break local to you. Plus, you can always do something alongside a spa break if you have the budget to do so, for example, a spa and then an all-inclusive resort.
Where are you going to go for your corporate getaway in 2025 and why? Will you be booking a breakaway to one of the suggestions above? Is there anything missing in our guide that you think we should be adding? Let us know in the comment box below, we look forward to hearing from you.
